I’m Alexander Sviridov, a fine art photographer and digital artist based in Toronto, Canada.

Over the years, my work has gained international recognition, and I’ve won multiple prestigious photo awards.

My photography journey began about twelve years ago. I came from a background in painting, having worked extensively with oil and acrylic, and spent a few years as a graphic designer.

Those experiences still play a massive role in how I approach my photography today.

My biggest influences are the great Renaissance masters, and I love merging their techniques with a surreal, modern touch to create something original and deeply personal.

When it comes to my creative process, everything starts with a sketch. I always draw out my ideas before I even touch the camera.

From there, I capture my photos using my trusty Canon EOS 6D, a camera that’s been with me for years.

I primarily work with two lenses – the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro for its incredible detail and the compact Canon EF 40mm f/2.8, perfect for everyday use.

Once the images are taken, I move to Adobe Photoshop, where the magic happens!

Sometimes, I use my Asus Tablet to add hand-drawn elements, blending photography with digital painting.

Creating art is more than work for me – it’s therapeutic.

It’s a way for me to express myself, to feel alive, and to explore new ideas.

Each piece I create reflects my artistic journey, and I’m constantly pushing myself to evolve and bring new visions to life.
